Son of James Morgan (a smith) and Honor Organ. Promoted to Sergeant on 1st October 1922. Married Bridget Fitzpatrick on 15th August 1923 in Rath Church, Corofin, County Clare. They had several children. Retired on 29th June 1951. Was one of the founders and Chairman. of the Garda Pensioner's Association in in Limerick Died on 14th April 1979. He is buried with Bridget in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery in Limerick. |
