John James Williams was the son of Robert Williams (a Mason) and Lizzie Costigan. Served in IRA 3rd Battalion Carlow Brigade during the War of Independence. Married Annie Byrne on 16th February 1931 in Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, Donegal. Died in April 1974. He is buried in Stranorlar Cemetery. |
