| Further Notes: | Born in Knockwalkey, Killunure, Longford, son of James Newman (a Farmer) and Teresa Creed. Married Annie Regan on 12th September 1933 in Ballyvaughan Church, County Clare. They had four children. Retired on 15th August 1958. Sadly his wife Anne Kate Newman died two days later on 17th August 1958 in Ballinamore, County Leitrim. He died on 18th March 1987. He is buired in Deansgrange Cemetery in Dublin. | ||
