Thomas Leo Mahon was the son of John Mahon (a Malster) and Maggie Bolger. Opened Longford Station on 13th October 1922 and was stationed there till 1923. He opened Moate station, County Westmeath and remained there for 18 months. He was transferred to Mullingar around 1925. Transferred to store st (DMP), then Kevin St and finally Kilmainham station in 1952. Retired on 16th October 1965. |
