Edward/Edmond Kennedy was the son of Eugene Kennedy and (a farmer) and Mary Daly. Married Ellen 'Nellie' Foley on 15th November 1938 in Molacliffe Church, County Kerry. Died while serving on 27th October 1949 at Tralee Hospital after injuries sustained in a traffic accident. His two brothers Michael Kennedy (Warrant Number 12374 DMP) and Eugene Kennedy (Reg No. 3099) were also Gardai. |
