Thomas Gantly was the son of Joseph Gantly (a Shop Assistant) and Mary Anne Hannon. Married Margaret Galvin on 18th April 1938 in St. Vincent De Paul's Church in Marino, Dublin. Resided in Killester, Dublin. Died while serving from illness on 10th January 1960. His brothers were also Garda: Sean Gantly (Reg No. 4804), Thomas Gantly (Reg No. 12525 DMP) and Joseph Gantly (Reg No. 6088). |
