Kieran Bennett was born in Cuddagh, Castletown, Abbeyleix, County Laois. He was the son of William Bennet (a Farmer) and Kate Fennessy. Married Mary Lalor on 9th August 1922 in Donnybrook, Dublin. They had three children. Spent 30 years stationed in Carrick on Suir, County Tipperary. Resided in Carrickbeg, Carrick On Suir. Died on 10th October 1972 in St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park, Dublin. |
