| Further Notes: | Son of Christopher Murphy and Mary Leary. Married Anastasia Kelly on 11th September 1922 in Adamstown Church. Anastasia Murphy died in 1939 in Roscommon. He then married Mary Fitzmaurice on 5th August 1940 in Roscommon Town. This resulted in his transfer to Claremorris, County Mayo, where he retired on 8th July 1948 and resided at Courthouse Road in Claremorris. Died at his home in Claremorris on 5th June 1963. He is buried in New Cemetery, Roscommon. | ||
