| Further Notes: | Patrick Peyton was actually born on 10th February 1904 in Brownill, Balla, Castlebar, County Mayo. He was the son of John Peyton (a Landholder) and Catherine Walsh. Married Margaret Harrold on 21st October 1939 in Kilmeedy Church, Limerick. They had one son. His wife Margaret died in 1948. John retired from An Garda Siochana. Died from illness on 18th October 1957 in Ballymacool, Letterkenny, County Donegal. He is buried in Conwal Parish Church Cemetery, Letterkenny. | ||
