| Further Notes: | Son of James McGinley (a farmer) and Bridget Cannon. Married Kathleen Hastings on 31st December 1932 in Leenane Church, Ballinasloe, Oughterard, County Galway. He was appointed to Food and Drugs Inspector for County Galway. Stationed in Ballinasloe when he reitred in 1955. He settled in Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton Scotland, where his brother John McGinley already resided. His address was 38 Garturk Street, Glasgow and was a Retired Stationmaster when he died on 24th May 1969. He was brought to Leenane and is buried there. | ||
