| Further Notes: | Joseph Mahon was actually born on *9th November 1900. He was the son of Joseph McMahon (a Farmer) and Elizabeth McManus. He served in the South Leitrim IRA Brigade during the War of Independence. Left the Civic Guards and emigrated to America in 1925. He died in New York in April 1970. | ||
