Spent 30 years as a Sergeant in Castlebar, County Mayo and was actively involved in athletics in the area. Upon retirement resided at Mons Terrace, Castlebar. Died on 22nd January 1974 in St. Mary's Hospital in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. He is buried in Old Castlebar Cemetery. | ||
