Son of Luke Cummins (a Farmer) and Mary Clark. Orignally attested 23rd August 1922. Married Bridget Kerins on 9th February 1931 in Ballymote Church, Sligo. Arrived in 1937 to Skreen, County Sligo for where he was stationed until he retired on 8th June 1959. Was appointed Chairman of Emerald GAA Club in 1941. Died on 2nd December 1966 in Skreen. He is buried in Skreen Cemetery. |
