John Joseph Towey was the son of John Towey (a Farmer) and Bridget Towey. Married Elizabeth Grimes on 14 September 1949 in St. Adam and Eve (Audeon's Church), Merchants Quay, Dublin. Upon retirement in 1956 resided in Ballaghaderreen. Died on 28th April 1979. He is buried in Kilcolman New Cemetery, County Roscommon. |
