| Further Notes: | Gerald Joseph Mullan was the son of Patrick Mullan (a Publican and Ex-RIC) and Isabella Eogan. Married Annie Daly on 5th January 1927 in St. Joseph's Church, Limerick. They had six children. He was the District Clerk for Skibbereen for 14 years before arriving to Ballinasloe, County Galway. Promoted to Sergeant in 1954 and transferred to Cloonacool, County Sligo. He was then sent to Loughrea and finally returned to Ballinasloe where he remained after he retired. Died on 3rd May 1964 in Ballinasloe. He is buried in Creagh Cemetery, Ballinasloe. | ||
