| Further Notes: | Chris Doherty was the son of Philip Doherty (a Labourer) and Mary Tobin. Married Bridget Kennedy on 16th June 1925 in Ballindangan Church, Kildorrery, Co. Cork. His son Joe Doherty also joined the Gardai and was assigned to Transport Section. DIed 18th March 1987. He is buried in Delvin Cemetery in County Westmeath. | ||
