| Further Notes: | Son of Anthony Sarsfield (a Farmer) and Mary Kaine. Was among the first Civic Guards who arrived in Kenmare, County Kerry. Transferred in Carrigallen, Leitrim, in August 1923. He was forced to leave the Gardai as the result of injuries he sustained resulting in the loss of a limb in 1930. | ||
