Son of James Ruane (A Land Holder) and Margaret Duane. Staioned in Ballyheigue andTralee. Married Mary Josephine Riordan on 24th April 1928 in St. John's Church Tralee. Later served in Cork. Died while serving on 4th October 1951 at the North Infirmary in Cork City. He is buried in St. Finbarr's Cemetery
His brother Stephen Ruane was also a Garda (Reg Number 5940). |
