Was married twice: Elizabeth Boyle on 15th February 1927 in Boonacloona, County Leitrim and when he became a widower he married Clare Doherty on 11th August 1931 in Multyfarnham, County Westmeath. Retired on 3rd October 1958 and resided in Boyle, County Roscommon. Died on 15th March 1974 in the County Hospital, Roscommon. He is buried in
Cloonmorris Cemetery. |
