| Further Notes: | Patrick Joseph Gaffney was born in Clogheen, County Tipperary. He was the son of James Gaffney (a Police Constable and Martha Dunne. Worked as a Bank Official before joining the Civic Guards. He resigned as a Garda on the 14th January 1925 to resume his former occupation as bank official. | ||
