| Further Notes: | William John Dorrian was the son of John Dorrian (a Stone Mason) and Cassie McGanaughy. Married Bridget Winifred Rice on 19th November 1930 in St. Andrew's Church in Dublin. Spent 25 years as Sergeant in Bangor, Erris, County Mayo before he transferred in April 1950 to Ballina, County Mayo. Died suddenly on 1st February 1957 at Ballina Garda Station. He is buried in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. | ||
