Son of William McMahon (a Builder and Contractor) and Mary Beggan. Married Mary Anne McHugh on 4th August 1930 in Drumkeeran, County Leitrim. His sons and daugthers were alter involved in the religious and military professions. Transferred to Dromahair, County Leitrim in 1934 and was stationed there until he retired in 1957. Resided in Dromohair and died on 6th December 1969. He is buried in Creevelea Abbey Cemetery, Dromahair. |
