Jack Niland was the son of Michael Niland and Mary Anne Walsh. Married Rose O'Connor in December 1927 in Dublin. They had 5 children. Died while serving on 9th January 1964. He is buried in St. Maelruain's Churchyard, Tallaght, Dublin. His two sons Jack and Michael also served as Gardaí. |
