William Francis Hennessy was the son of William Hennessy (Sergeant in the Military) and Emily Deare. Married Catherine 'May' Johnson on 19th August 1925 in Duncannon, Fethard on Sea, County Wexford. Spent 31 years stationed in Ballymacarbry, County Waterford. retired in November 1958. Died on 28th December 1981. He is buried in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin. His brother was also a Garda: George Hennessy (Reg No. 2816). |
