| Further Notes: | Samuel Gray Smeaton was the son of William Smeaton (a Cooper) and Hanna Owens. Spent time in the military in the First World War with the South Irish Horse until 1920. Only remained as a Garda for a few years before he then became a cooper. Maried Johanna Dwyer on 1st Janaury 1927 in Dublin. Died on 18th September 1963 in Laois Hospital.
