| Further Notes: | Benjamin Robert Gill was actually born on 8th May 1899 at Sprout Road, Nenagh. His parents were Patrick Gill (a Printer) and Mary Anne Delaney. During the First World War served in the Royal Field Artillery (Service Number 836311). Upon leaving the Civic Guards he later emigrated to Australia. First married Mary Anne Meagher in Fitzroy Victoria in 1928 and later Irene Monica Murray at Melbourne in 1937. Died 28th July 1979 in Fitzroy. He is buried in Fawkner Memorial Park, Victoria. | ||
