Son of James Murray (a labourer) and Anne Flood of Stranahely, Baltinglass, County Wicklow. Married Mary Jospehine McKeon on 4th August 1930 in St. Patrick's Church in Drumshambo, County Leitrim. They later lived in Corkbeg, Whitegate, County Cork. Died while serving on 23rd February 1961 in St. Stephen's Hospital, Glanmire. He is buried with his wife in Aghada Cemetery. |
