Son of Daniel Cullinane (a Farmer) and Mary Keohane. Joined the Irish Volunteers in 1915 and served in the 3rd Battalion West Cork Brigade IRA. Married Rita O'Shea on 8th June 1926 in Kenmare Church, Kerry. Retired on 26th September 1962. Resided at Shannon Street, Mountrath, County Laois. Died on 14th September 1977 in St. Vincent's Hospital. His sons John Cullinane and Denis Cullinane were alos Gardai. |
