Son of James Daly (a Farmer) and Kate Dooley. Married Catherine Skehan on 10th September 1930 in St. Michael's Church in Lmerick City. They had 5 children. Arrived as a Sergeant to Sixmilebridge, County Clare in 1937. Retired on 31st May 1959. Resided in Hilldaly, Sixmilebridge. Died suddenly on 30th August 1981. He is buried in Ballysheen Cemetery, Sixmilebridge. |
