| Further Notes: | Peter James Callan was born in Geevagh, County Sligo. His parents were Laurence Callan (Sergeant RIC) and Frances O'Donnell. Married Mary 'Molly' Carroll on 30th June 1942 in Dublin. They had two children. Resided at Seafield Cottage in Bray, Co. Wicklow, the district he was stationed in for 16 years. Died while serving on 22nd November 1951 in Mercer Hospital Dublin. He is buried in St. Peter's Churchyard in Bray. | ||
