James Brendan Hayden was the son of James D. Hayden (a National Teacher) and Lizzie Byrne. Married Mary Frances Desmond on 10th May 1932 in Clogheen Church. Promoted to Sergeant in 1955. In 1957 he was appointed as clerk in the Chief Superintendents Office in Bandon. They had 5 children. Died while serving on 19th July 1964. |
