| Further Notes: | George Joseph Kane was born in Swords, County Dublin. He was the son of Michael Kane (ex-RIC) and Mary Ormond. Married Veronica Walsh on 7th May 1930 in Leiglinbridge, County Carlow. Spent the last years of his career stationed in Naas, County Kildare. Retired on 30th April 1964 and settled in Highland Views, Naas. Died on 26th October 1993. | ||
