Thomas Clogher/Clougher was the son of Patrick Clogher (a Farmer) and Mary Fallon. He joined the Royal Irish Constabulary on 8th August 1908 (Service Number 64291). Married Bridget McDonnell on 10th February 1919 in Ballyforan, Brideswell County Roscommon. Promoted to Sergeant in the Civic Guards on 1st September 1922. Retired on 11th October 1944. Became a civil servant and lived with his family at Arran Road in Drumcondra, Dublin. Died on 28th April 1957 at his home in Arran Road. He is buried in Deans Grange Cemetery in Dublin. |
