Son of Patrick Mulroy (a Farmer) and Mary Cain. Married Catherine Kilbane on 6th January 1934 in Mary Immaculate Church, Achill Island. Spent his last 10 years stationed in Clifden, County Galway. Died while serving on 24th March 1952 in Clifden. He is buried in Polranny Cemetery, Achill Sound, County Mayo. His brothers were also Gardai: Patrick Mulroy (Reg No. 1959) and Martin Mulroy (Reg No. 5131). |
