| Further Notes: | Andrew Charles Gabriel Carolan was the son of Hugh Carolan (Constable RIC) and Ellen Cassidy. Married Rose Anne Geraghty on 27th June 1927 in Knockcroghery Church, Roscommon. After he retired he settled in Essex, England, where he died on 19th June 1979. He is buried in Essex but there is a memorial for him in St Kilian's Cemetery in Mullagh. His brother was Garda Hugh Carolan (Reg No. 3011) and his cousin was Garda Hugh Reilly (Reg No. 2585). | ||
