| Further Notes: | Born 28th December 1897 in Pulnabrone, Mountbellew, County Galway. He was the son of Thomas Devally (a Landholder) and Mary Ruane. Married Mary Josephine Conboy on 20th October 1923 in Barnacoola, County Leitrim. Was retired when he died on 4th October 1956 at his residence in 2 Falcarragh Road, Whitehall, Coolock, Dublin. His son Liam was married to RTE Presenter Maria Connaughton and he was accepted to the Irish Law Bar in 1974. Their son Liam was later accepted to the Irish Bar in 1974 and was married to RTE Presenter Maria Connaughton. | ||
