Son of James Ruane (a Land Holder) and Margaret Duane. Stationed in Chapelizoid . Married Kathleen Theresa Rogers on 30th April 1935 in Chapelizoid Church, Dublin. Transferred as a result to Santry. Later stationed in County Wicklow. Retired in the 1960s. Died 22nd Novembe 1979. He is buried in Ashbourne Meath.
His brother John Ruane was also a Garda (Reg No. 2625). |
