| Further Notes: | Sean Materson was the son of Eadward Materson. He served in the F.C.A. from 1957 to 1961. Garda Masterson also served at Sundrive Road and Crumlin Stations. He worked with Traffic at Dublin Castle He was married and had two daughters and a son. On 26th January, 1970, Garda Masterson was on duty as an official motor cyclist. He was involved in a road traffic collision at Newlands Cross on the Naas Road, Dublin. He later died at St. Stevens Hospital from injuries sustained in the collision. He is buried at Deansgrange Cemetery. | ||
