Con Lillis was the son of John Lillis (a farmer) and Margaret Marshall. Served in the Limerick IRA during the War of Independence. Married Elizabeth Hutton on 14th August 1928 in Rathoe Church, Fenagh, County Carlow. After he retired he worked as a gardener. He died on 17th April 1958 in Cork. |
